ABOUT ME

(Pianist, Researcher, Curator)

Sarunda Siasiriwatana graduated highschool from Silpakorn Music Honors Program in collaboration with Mater Dei Institute, Bangkok, Thailand. She was the first generation of students studying music program there, as well as here at Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music. Her 13 years life within convent school shape her thought to be feminism in some way, and also along the way in doing this project. So there comes the final theme in her graduate recital.

Apart from music, Sarunda has a strong interest in language and literature. She found PGVIM Literary Club, being the first president and activate activities to support reading and writing. Being a young enthusiastic researcher, her paper ‘Gender Studies on Fanny Mendelssohn’ had been submitted and presented in International symposium in Thailand and UK. The next chapter of her life is to continue master degree in English-Thai translation, and cross-disciplinary research. Her ultimate goal of life is to make classical music in Thailand accessible. Now currently a researcher at Musica per Tutti Symphony Orchestra
